Surprisingly beautiful downtown area filled with wonderful opportunities for entertainment, shopping and sightseeing. The city amenities are affordable, easy to find, easy to park, and often close together. The Zoo is located in a unique urban state park that includes two museums, an IMAX Theater, the NCAA Hall of Champions, a gem of a baseball park, a concert venue, canal walks, and more. Not far away are shopping (lots of it), theaters, art galleries, sports venues, and a huge variety of restaurants. Not far from downtown are a first class art museum, the largest city park in the country (Eagle Creek) and the world's largest Children's Museum. All this doesn't count the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Indianapolis is an eye-opening experience - a gem of city that some east and west coasters would never expect.
