Virginia Tourism and Sightseeing
Welcome to Virginia!

Virginia is bordered by Washington, D.C., the nation's capital, and Maryland to the north; the Atlantic Ocean to the east; North Carolina and Tennessee to the south; and West Virginia and Kentucky to the west. It is a vastly changing state with 9 regions flows from the mountainous to level terrain. Western Virginia is covered by the Allegheny and Blue Ridge mountains with the great Shenandoah Valley falling between the ranges. The central piedmont region, has rolling hills, and then flattens out into the sandy coastal plain toward the Atlantic Ocean.

Virginia’s motto “Virginia is for lovers”, is why so many visitors flock here to vacation. There are ample beaches, and 2,500 miles of scenic drives through mountains, countryside and rolling hills. Come enjoy historic Gettysburg and Colonial Williamsburg, antique shops, amusement parks, and the small towns that are full of great local diners, wineries, soda fountains, and quaint B&Bs.
