Dothan is a mural city in the Southeast corner of the state of Alabama boasting 14 murals in the downtown part of our city. We are home to a state agricultural museum, Landmark Park, on 431N, Dothan Area Botanical Gardens, off Hwy 431 N. and Wiregrass Museum of Art in our downtown area. We hold the record for having the most restaurants per capita in the U.S. Many people drive through Dothan on their way to Panama City Beach which is only 85 miles south. We have 3 open air, tented local farmers markets in the summer, one of which is on Saturday mornings in June and July in our Civic Center parking area where music and children's activities are provided.
