Description	5k Run-Walk is designed to improve awareness of sickle cell disease and raise funds to provide educational and social service for individuals living with sickle cell.The Run-Walk will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the Autozone Park. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m., the 5k walk begins at 9:00 a.m., 9:10 a.m. will start the 1 Mile Fun Run, 10:30 a.m. the foundation will host the Post-Run/Walk Celebration. To make donations and register, go to sicklecellwalk.com. Tee shirts will be given to anyone who donates $20 or more. In addition to the Run-Walk, there will be access to kid’s activities, food, health screenings and various vendors.
