OK | Left a review on face book, didn't know I could leave one here. Here goes! My hus band and I heard GREAT!!! things about this restaurant the first week it opened We went with a friend a week later and it cetainly wasn't great. Shrimp cocktail and crab cakes were delicious. My husband and I both ordered medium well sirloin steaks. Mine came out medium rare, I called it to our waitress' attention and she said "that steak is really, really rare", and walked away. When she brought drink refills over she asked why my husband why he wasn't eating his steak, he told her it was all fat and gristle. Her response was "oh, that's too bad" Ironically, our friend's shrimp and pasta dish was delicious. I thought this was a steakhouse. When we were leaving we let the staff at the door know what had happened, they were more concerned about finding out who the waitress was so they could give her more training than offering us any apology.
We have spoken to an awful lot of people who went to Stockholders the first week and were so impressed went back the following week only to have a very disappointing meal. I'll wait awhile until I hear great things again before I go back. | Middle age couple | 09-13-10 |
