Every Year Wonder Works hosts the largest Family New Year's Eve Party in Oak Park! This year will be bigger and better than ever! Special games, crafts, noisemakers, parades, singing, food and so much more! Admission $2 per person for Wonder Works members, $10 for non-members.

Friday December 7, 10am to Noon, Transportation Works
Let gravity do the work as you race toy cars down the extra-long Blu Track. Then let spinning wheels propel toy cars in to loop-de-loops around a battery powered raceway. We will also have more wooden trains than usual, plus an O-scale model railway where you can take your turn as engineer. You'll find more construction vehicles in our pebble filled pool and in the sandbox.
Friday, December 14, !0am to Noon, Air-Powered Toys
Moving air can power airplanes, helicopters, boats and many other kinds of vehicles. At this week's program you can launch a paper helicopter, drop a parachute, release a balloon powered vehicle, help the wind blow sailboats across the water, and fly aircraft powered by your imagination. You can also make your own burst of wind using an empty plastic jug or our more powerful air cannon.
Friday, December 21, 10am to Noon, Holiday Trains
At Holiday Trains, you can load tiny presents and holiday symbols on an O-scale electric train and then help decorate the wooden train layout for the holidays. There will be more trains than usual to play with, plus extra train layouts on both the Build It floor and the play dough table. You also can make a train themed holiday decoration that you can take home.
