| Description | Southwick's Zoo is located off Route 16 in Mendon, Massachusetts. Southwick's is New England's largest zoo and home to hundreds of animals from lions and tigers to elephants and giraffes! Southwick's features a walk through deer forest where you meet and greet free roaming European Fallow deer! Don't forget to check out our newest exhibits:Bengal Tiger Cubs, Bearded Pigs, African Warthogs, Skyfari Ride, Mandrill Baboons and a new habitat for our African Leopard "Mowgli!" Southwick's offers educational and entertaining animal shows daily from May - Sept and we haven't forgotten the little ones with kiddie rides and a play park! While you're here, take a ride on the Woodland Express rubber tire train ride or our new Skyfari Ride for all ages! Southwick's has food concessions as well from panini sandwiches and wraps at Clarice's Cupboard to hotdogs and hamburgers at the Zebra Cafe! Stop by the "Purple Peacock Gift Store" for distinctive gifts from around the world! We are open from 10am - 5pm, everyday (holidays included) from mid April - mid October.
