| Description | If you like the great outdoors, you’ll love our hiking trails. The Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve features over seven miles of breath taking trails through forested land, lush prairies and along serene ponds. Wildlife can be seen in abundance on these paths, and lookout stations help you catch a better view of their activities and antics.

Our trails are open to the public from dawn to dusk, year round. Trails may be closed on occasion for maintenance or safety purposes. Please call the Seneca Meadows Landfill office at 315-539-5624 for up-to-date information.
Fees:
Seneca Meadows does not charge parking or admission fees for the use of its trail system.
Pets:
Leashed pets are allowed on the trails. Please clean up after your pet.
Activities:
Hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing are allowed on our trails. No motorized vehicles (i.e., snowmobiles, 4-wheelers, motor bikes, etc.) are allowed on the trails or the surrounding property. Please stay on designated trails.
Trail Access & Parking:
The entrance to the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve is on Black Brook Road in Seneca Falls. This entrance has a sizeable parking area with wide, easily accessible trail heads. All trails start at this location.
Accommodations:
A port-a-potty is available for public use at the Preserve. Restrooms are available at the Seneca Meadows Environmental Education Center, on Route 414, during open hours.
