Description	The gallery is filled with MerMan Metal sculptures by award winning artist Michael Sauro. His imaginative pieces are constructed of recycled antique and found metals. His creations are great for outside gardens or inside sculptures. The Painted Mermaid Studio located next to the Gallery exhibits Brenda Ellis Sauro's original oil paintings, students art and giclee' prints, cards and hand-hooked rugs. Rug hooking supplies, patterns and hand-dyed wools for your hand-hooked projects and more! The Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturdays, 9-5. We are closed on Tuesdays, by chance on Sundays. The Painted Mermaid Studio is open year round for ongoing classes in rug hooking and oil painting with instructor Brenda Ellis Sauro. Excellent!	The Painted Mermaid is filled with beautiful paintings of Mermaids, Maine landscapes from local artists, and has a delightful artist loft studio for aspiring artists to take classes. I purchased two necklaces(glass)and everytime I wear them people stop me and admire them. The Painted Mermaid is a hidden gem. Stop by and you will get a real taste of Maine as you enter the store.
