| Description | Old Friends is the primary thoroughbred rescue / retirement non profit for stallions. The 92 acre farm provides these deserving athletes a permanent home and welcomes visitors and racing fans on daily tours to help raise awareness of horses in need. Our pensioners include Eclipse Award winners Sunshine
Forever, The Wicked North and the great race mare, Hidden Lake. Clever Allemont, Ogygian, Kiri's Clown, Awad, Klassy Briefcase, Judge's Case,
Will's Way, Stage Colony, Danthebluegrassman, Kudos, Easy Grades, Mighty Mecke, Creator, Fortunate Prospect, Futural, Affirmed Success,
Siphonizer, Bull inthe Heather, Williamstown and Wallenda. And, of course, Little Silver Charm, the kissin' mini, and Popcorn Deelites, one
of the thespian Thoroughbreds that played the title role in "Seabiscuit."
Old Friends is 20 minutes from Lexington and is open all year. Free tours
are at 10:00, 1:00 and 3:00 daily with an appointment. Guests come to
visit a few ex-racehorses, they leave having been touched by the heart of
