Excellent! | I learned about Noah's in 2003 and have been associated with them since.
Various animals have been rescued by the owners, Ellen and Doug Whitehouse, for a number of reasons. The biggest problem faced by them is getting the public to understand that when you purchase that adorable, little cub, you really need to understand that it will become a very large animal and if you don't have the space, don't buy the cub!
They are here to help those animals whose owners either surrender an animal or lose the animal through the authorities intervention. Animals have been abused, starved, neglected and beaten. They don't trust humans when they first arrive but with Ellen's care they come around in time.
What they are doing for the wild creatures is necessary and well worth the trip. You'll be amazed! And I highly recommend it for all ages. It's informative and entertaining and you'll come away with a better understanding of all animals. | Elderly female | 08-01-08 |
Excellent! | Noah's lost ark is a amazing place. I am really glad there is someone out there that is interested in saving our wildlife. speaking from experience, me and my father raised a african lion by the name of sheba that u all have now. She was like our family and was well taken care of. I gratuated and moved off and started a family so i left sheba with my father. He took care of her for yrs after that and then he couldnt work so he started drawing disability. This was a hard time because he was afraid if something happened and sheba needed help with limitied income now he wouldnt be able to provide for her so he called you all. I know she is in great hands now and i have no worries about her. I just want to say thank you so much for being there. Yes wildlife is neat but they can get in the wrong hands of people. You all are doing an amazing job with all the animals. And once again thank you for being there for me and my father. Kell Hollister | Middle age female | 06-08-08 |
