| Description | The Camden Snow Bowl is a 70 year ski area located within the 4-season Ragged Mountain Recreation Area. The Snow Bowl consists of 11 trails, 850 feet of vertical, 4 lifts, snowmaking, rental shop, tubing hill, pond skating, XC ski trail, and the 400 foot Jack Williams Toboggan Chute - home of the US National Toboggan Championships the first weekend of February each year. During the non-skiing season the Ragged Mountain Recreation Area offers hiking, mountain biking, tennis, a baseball/soccer field and boat launching area on 55 acre Hosmer Pond. The ski lodge is also available to rent for weddings, parties, and special events. |
