Description | Raccoon Creek County Park is a 700-acre park in the Gallia County foothills along Raccoon Creek. Its scenic vistas, deep gorges, wetlands, meadows and species, including the endangered "Reflexed umbrella sedge", earned the park designation as an Ohio Natural Landmark. The park features picnic areas, shelters, nature and hiking trails, youth play facilities, basketball and tennis courts and athletic fields. It is owned and operated by the O.O. McIntyre Park District and is an ideal spot to relax. observe nature, take a walk or have a picnic. |
