| Description | Join The Cozy Tea Cart in Brookline, NH as we present a tea sampling and an introduction to Kickstarter program to support the Nepal tea farmers. Nepal Tea is expanding its social projects to other tea-farming communities in Nepal. They are launching a Kickstarter Project on February 1st with the hopes of bettering a nation constricted by poverty.
Nepal Tea aims to support the tea farmers by eliminating middlemen and directly trading products from the farmers. By keeping the channel clean, the farmers get the maximum benefit.
In addition to the sustainable income for the tea farmers, Nepal Tea also practices social responsibility via the cow bank project that distributes cows to farmers enabling them to earn extra income; the educational scholarship project that provides full educational scholarships to their children; the farmer's co-op that provides subsidized food to the farmers; and the free housing project that provides the farmers with the accommodations they deserve.
