| Description | My name is Andrea Korotky and I am the proprietor of A. Korotky Studio, a weaving and surface design textile studio. My studio is located on the garden floor of my home in the heart of Fry's Spring, in Charlottesville, Virginia. I weave cloth of all sorts on an 8-harness Gilmore loom; and I have several smaller rigid heddle looms often in use, including an inkle loom. I show and sell all my work and enjoy meeting people, doing demonstrations of various hand-crafts, and talking about weaving, cloth, and textile history and design. There is always something happening at A. Korotky Studio! |
