Average Quad Cities Weather
There is a very prominent change of seasons in the Quad Cities. Winter temperatures can range from the 50 to below zero. Spring visitors enjoy temps between 60 and 70. During the summer months temperatures range anywhere from 80 to 95 and Fall brings with it temps from 60 to 70. Each season offers its own beauty along the riverfront here in the Quad Cities. The Quad Cities is made up of the Mississippi riverfront cities of Davenport, Bettendorf in Iowa and Moline/East Moline and Rock Island in Illinois. The area is served by Interstates 80, 88, 74 and the Quad City International Airport (QCIA) located in Moline, Illinois. The focus of the Art Moderne style Casino is a 42,500 square foot gaming floor that includes over 1,100 slot machines, 24 table games as well as poker and high stakes slot area. With a flair for the late Art Deco style of the late 1920s and early 1930s, the casino design blends sleek materials, exciting light effects and dramatic architectural details. A feature “Oculus Bar” provides the central focus of this area offering an upscale club feel with nightly live music. Hotel
Directly connected to the casino is a 205 room hotel which includes 11 luxury suites. This 5 story hotel provides dramatic views of the adjacent lake. The hotel design is based on the design concepts of the Modern Era seen in the work of Morris Lapidus.
