Best Time to Visit Palm Beaches Florida
Palm Beach is a great year-round destination. Beach season starts in spring and lasts through much of the fall. Golf season never ends. Music fans might want to make a trip in May during SunFest, a five-day music event spanning the spectrum from alternative to jazz, rock and reggae. Click Here to find hotels in Palm Beaches. September is the wettest month with a rainfall averaging close to 8.5 inches; June runs a close second in the waterworks division with around eight annual inches of rainfall.

Transportation
Palm Beach is easily accessible via 1-95 as well as the Florida Turnpike. American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Kiwi, Northwest, TWA, United, and USAirways serve West Palm Beach International airport. Amtrak has a West Palm Beach Terminal.

Once there, a car is the best way to get around. However, the recently renovated Palm Tran encompasses a 32-stop-route, 140-bus fleet. Bus information is available via (516) 233-4BUS Monday through Saturday from 6am through 7pm. Free shuttles cover the downtown area on weekdays; call (561) 833-8873 for information.

In-Season Costs
No getting around it - Palm Beach is a pricey place. It is still the playground of the rich. Expect to pay around $120 for a budget room in-season. Palm Beach has more resorts with the AAA 5-Diamond rating than anywhere else in the continental USA. Restaurants range from moderately priced to the-sky-is-the-limit.

Florida Tourism - Palm Beaches Attractions, Activities and Day Trips
While close enough to Ft. Lauderdale to check it out, most visitors to Palm Beach prefer to stay in the area, shopping, visiting the zoo, engaging in beach and golf activities or availing themselves of the amenities of their hotel. But, Miami, Orlando and Key West are within driving distance.
