| Description | Wascana Centre is known internationally as a beautifully landscaped park surrounding a 120-hectare lake located in the heart of the City of Regina. Within the 930-hectare parkland development may be found numerous important buildings among which are the Legislative Building, government office buildings (one of which houses the MacKenzie Art Gallery), the various buildings that make up the University of Regina, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Conexus Arts Centre, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, the Saskatchewan Science Centre, and the headquarters of Wascana Centre Authority.
