Wayzata is a city on Lake Minnetonka in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States, a western suburb of Minneapolis. The name Wayzata is derived from a Lakota Sioux phrase meaning "North Shore". As of the 2010 census, the population was 3,688. Visitors enjoy all the luxuries of lake living in a small community. Restaurants range from causal dining to an elegant evening by the lake. Retailers and restaurants make up a large portion of Lake Street where you can find unique gifts and delicious cuisine for the whole family.
