Maridon Museum

An Asian-focused museum with sculptures of jade, ivory, porcelain and brass. Its art represents Japan, China, Korea, India and Germany, spanning more than 4,000 years. The Maridon opened on May 8th, 2004. It is the only museum in the Western Pennsylvania region with a specific focus on Chinese and Japanese art and culture. The museum ù both the objects and the buildings that house them ù is the gift of Mary Hulton Phillips.
