Description | Part of the land grant given to Mayflower passengers John and Priscilla Alden in 1627 and home to generations of Alden descendants, Alden House Historic Site explores one of America's founding stories. Tour the historic Alden House c. 1700 and walk to the "First Site" foundation of John and Priscilla's first home in Duxbury. An exhibit of archaeological artifacts uncovered from this site is on display in Alden House. Guided tours of Alden House are offered June through October, Wednesdays through Saturdays, noon to 4 pm.
