Historical artifacts, displays and special programs. Time-line of Winona County. New Laird/Norton addition with exhibits, and museum shop. Founded in 1935, the Winona County Historical Society is Minnesota’s largest county historical society. It is located in downtown Winona at 160 Johnson Street in the historic former National Guard Armory (1915), and the recently opened modern Laird Norton Addition.
