| Description | The Wildlife Science Center (WSC) is a nationally recognized education and research facility. It is an independent nonprofit organization that is currently located on the grounds of the Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area in Forest Lake, MN, an expansive natural habitat just 40 minutes from downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul.
The Wildlife Science Center is currently home to gray wolves, red wolves, wolf-hybrids, lynx, skunks, a porcupine, several birds of prey, black bears, gray fox, a raccoon and a New Guinea
Highland Dog. Most of the animals are on exhibit so please come out for a tour to see them.
Reservations can be made for private tours, birthday parties, bonfire programs, sleep over programs, and for the Wolf Camp Experience for children. Please visit our website for more information about our mission, animals, and events.
