Take home a painting inspired by the Ferriday Garden botanical collection. Betsy Rogers-Knox has been drawing and painting since childhood. Her love of nature and plants eventually brought her to the New York Botanical Garden where she completed the Botanical Illustration program in 2006. Betsy is enchanted by the full lifecycle of the plants she portrays in watercolor and usually observes the plant for a full year before beginning a composition. Betsy teaches painting and drawing to both adults and children from her studio in Bethlehem, CT as well as other venues. All levels welcome. Registration required, call 203-266-7596.
