The Crystal River and famous Chain O’ Lakes, a string of 22 spring-fed, pristine lakes, offer an ideal setting for water activities of all sorts. Hartman Creek State Park, two segments of the Ice Age Trail, and the unique River Ridge Trail await the camper and hiker. Fantastic golf, great parks and beaches, ample shopping, and a variety of other diversions make every visit special.

Waupaca offers one a public beach at South Park in downtown Waupaca WI. South Park has playground equipment and picnicking areas. A great place to relax. Stop in to the Hutchinson House Museum while at the park and take a step back into the history of Waupaca. Hartman Creek State Park is located just 5 miles west of Waupaca.
