Area Overview
St. Lawrence County is the largest county in New York State. Ogdensburg, the only city in St. Lawrence County overlooks the beautiful St. Lawrence River. We have (4) colleges in the county. We are a year-round destination with: hunting, fishing, golfing, hiking, biking, boating, museums, wineries, antiques, hockey, baseball, soccer, football and many other activities. We are (45) minutes from Ottawa and enjoy visiting with our Canadian neighbors. Our annual Seaway Festival is held in late July -- family's and friend's gather during this annual event. We have many restaurants, bed and breakfasts, cottages, hotels and motels to accommodate our visitors.
