Sidney is located in west central Ohio adjacent to Interstate 75 approximately 35 miles north of Dayton and 40 miles south of Lima.

The population of Sidney is approximately 23,000. Major employment in the area is focused on advanced manufacturing with several large companies located here in addition to many nationally recognized businesses that operate in Sidney. Agricultural based and food processing businesses are prevalent in the area as well.

Dining and shopping outlets in Sidney include those locally owned in addition to many national chains. Nearby major cities include Dayton (35 miles), Columbus (75 miles), and Cincinnati (90 miles). National and international air travel is best coordinated from these cities as well.

Local natural resources for recreational purposes include Lake Loramie State Park and Tawawa Park. Other nearby State Parks include those at Indian Lake and Grand Lake St. Marys.
