Cultural Activities





The Alberta House Arts Center holds a large, multimedia exhibit of the best that area artists and craftsmen have to offer. Alberta House is a non-profit organization that strives to make arts readily accessible to people in this area. The River of History Museum allows visitors to experience early Native American Life through 11 interactive galleries that will transport you through history.

Attractions






The Soo Locks have more than 10,000 vessels pass through the locks each year. This destination is free with a beautiful park, educational visitor’s center, and a two story observation platform at the lock’s edge. Experience the Soo Locks first hand by taking a boat tour through one of the locks! The Soo Locks Boat Tours offer a comfortable tour boat and chart a spectacular course on the St. Marys River and through the Soo Locks. Another must see, is the view from 210 feet above Sault Ste. Marie at The Tower of History. Be sure to bring your camera for this stunning view. Tahquamenon Falls State Park is another picture perfect location. The rushing 48 foot drop of the Upper Falls and the serene tranquility of the multiple Lower Falls, make for great pictures and a perfect day.
