Area Overview
Cazenovia is located on the East side of beautiful Cazenovia Lake with a public boat launch, and two parks Lakeland Park with swimming and summer concerts and Lakeside Park with boat launch, playground and picnic area with grills. We have many trails, Lorenzo State Historic Site and Stone Quarry ARt Park with several outdoor sculptures. We have several Inns and B & B's. We have a beverage trail of Empire Farmstead Brewery, Critz Farms, Henneberg Brewery, Life of Reilley, Owera Vineyards, and more coming. Hampton Inn Suites just opened this Spring with 80 rooms and conference seating for 300. We have our Historic Shopping District in downtown Cazenovia with several botiques and specialty shops. Our Cazenovia Central School District has State Champion Athletes, Musicians and Scholars graduating. We also have Cazenovia College with 1000 students. We are also a hub for equestrian enthusiasts with both the Morrisville College and Cazenovia College degrees in this field of study. Morrisville College has a state of the art Equine Rehabilitation Center between Cazenovia and Morrisville. We have a 9 hole and an 18 hole golf course. We are only minutes away from the awesome Chittenango Falls and twenty minutes from the metropolis of Syracuse.

Cultural Activities

Cazenovia Artisans with over 30 ARtists work in their shop for sale. Cazenovia Public Library has a large museum with a mummy and many other items on display. Cazenovia School of Ballet offers ballet and other dance and The Nutcracker is performed annually. Summer Concert Series in Lakeland Park from June thru August. Catherine Cummings Theatre offers movies and special series. Lorenzo Historic Site at south end of Cazenovia Lake offers Syracuse Symphony each summer. The Art community offers an Art Trail each year visiting dozens of artists in their studios.

Several Parks are available in and around the Village. Lakeland Park has a sandy beach. We have several Breweries and Distilleries. We are ten minutes from the Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango. We have a beautiful lake with fishing, boating and swimming. Many ice fisherman in the winter as our lake is stocked annually and maintained in good health.
