Chippewa Falls has abundant recreation, from hayrides to apple-picking, from cozy cabins to wine-tasting, and from speedway races to impressive stage productions.
The Chippewa River and Lake Wissota are perfect for summer and spring water recreation, including swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and tubing. In the winter, the lake offers a great place for ice fishing. Our state parks are popular for hiking, biking, and bird-watching in the warmer months and for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing in the colder months. Year round, there is never a shortage of activities in our great community.
