Area Overview
Where industrial meets prairie is one way to describe Cedar Falls. Our rapidly expanding industrial park is surrounded by prairie and even a cornfield or two. Our downtown district is a thriving little metropolis, boasting live theatre and a historic hotel, boutique shops in century old buildings, lots of local restaurants and museums within walking distance, as well as great nightlife offerings. You can watch a Broadway show in the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Art Center. Cedar Falls is a college town, too, home to the University of Northern Iowa. We also offer 110-plus miles of paved trails, plus an abundance of soft trails and water trails.
