A quick drive south, and you'll shift to the great outdoors at the WV Wildlife Center, where you can walk along a 1.25 mile path while viewing WV native wildlife.
Upshur County's rivers are an unknown gem--native trout & huge muskie make for a fun fishing trip. Our rivers are perfect for a kayak / canoe trip, too!
Within 30 minutes of Upshur County, you'll find a resort & spa, excursion train rides, the American Mountain Theatre and endless opportunities to create an adventure & lasting memories.
