| Description | The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts is a premier regional arts center located in downtown Valdosta, GA, offering a wide variety of art experiences to citizens of Valdosta, Lowndes and surrounding Georgia counties, and North Florida. The six light-filled galleries offer a diverse selection of works by regional and national artists in approximately thirty exhibits annually. Two of the galleries house permanent collections, including a 600-piece East African art collection and over 30 pieces of antique European Fine Porcelain. With its state-of-the-art kitchen, the Center is available for private rental for events such as wedding receptions and business gatherings, and contains a gift shop with one-of-a-kind items by local artists. Items in the gift shop include pottery, jewelry, prints, original works of art, note cards, books and cd’s, stained glass, wood carvings and much more.
The Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts has been the regional community art center for South Georgia since 2003. Our galleries are always free & open to the public. The exhibits change every 6-8 weeks, so there is always something new to see!. Because of our generous friends, the Turner Center has become one of this area's most treasured assets.
