Fun Things To Do In Florida Keys, FL
Attractions, Sightseeing and Events
When it comes to outdoor activities, Key Largo is second to none. We are home to the nation's first underwater park, John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, which also has an outstanding land base with a 30,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, beaches, snorkeling and diving, glass-bottom boat, nature trails and more. We have about 30 dive shops that can teach you how to dive, or take you (from novices to experts) on snorkeling trips to the only living coral reef off the continental United States. Key Largo also features great fishing, parasailing, canoe and kayak trails and eco tours through the waters of Everglades National Park. Our many fine restaurants feature fresh local seafood, but all menues have something for every palate. And don't worry about a dress code; we're Keys casual! Accommodations range from big resorts flying well-known national flags to the smaller mom 'n' pop cottages to exclusive boutique hotels. Almost all our lodging facilities are on the water, whether facing Florida Bay or the Atlantic Ocean.
