Description | The Children's Museum of History, Nat'l History, Science & Technology in Utica, NY, permanently chartered in 1963 by the Board of Regents of NYS, is a quality of life venue, an educational resource, and a tourism attraction. Passionately committed to providing a hands-on safe environment for children, families, groups, our 4 floors of exhibits provide an enjoyable educational experience for kids from 1 to 101 to learn, experience, create. The museum is housed in a NYS & Federal historic building, located in the historic Main Street / Baggs Sqiare East downtown Utica district. A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that receives no funding for Operations from the City, County, State or Federal govts, run mostly by Volunteers, we rely on public and private support through Admissions, Donations & Gifts (which are tax deductible) and Grants. Our mission is driven by a vision to empower children to successfully connect with and expand their world, a place to discover, learn, explore, play and be creative in a safe, clean, fun environment. Each year we grow in exhibits with future plans to build a STEM Center /Planetarium in back of our building. Come take part with us! |
