The park features large, walk-through aviaries that immerse visitors in the birds' world and provide one of a kind photo opportunities. The aviaries are surrounded by lush gardens and a natural wetland area where native wildlife abounds.

Sylvan Heights Bird Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission of providing a world-class conservation and education facility in Eastern North Carolina.
