| Description | Join us for a walk in the field and through the woods. Learn how to identify common wild edible plants and prepare them. Learn safety rules for plant collecting as well as environmental and conservation issues related to this fun hobby. This program is sponsored by and will be held at The Little Nature Museum located at Gould Hill Farm, Contoocook. Pregistration required; enrollment limited to 15. Min. age, 11; with an adult, min. age 9. Cost: $10, members; $15, nonmembers. Call 746-6121 to register or for more information. Proceeds benefit the Museum.
Instructor: Rudy Bourget, outdoor survival expert, has taught this program for the past two years. Rudy has taught wilderness survival skills for over 40 yrs. & has been active in Scout leadership and training for nearly 20 yrs.
