DescriptionDeep gorges, with awe-inspiring scenery…pounding rapids and clear waters….. all what you can expect to find on this Wild and Scenic river in northeast Georgia. You can choose a Section III trip, which is a scenic relaxing float with plenty of excitement for the whole family. And if you are looking for more adventure along with incredible scenery, Section IV is the choice with Class IV rapids from which legends have been made: Woodall Shoals, Seven Foot Falls, Deliverance Rock, Corkscrew and Jawbone.

We also offer overnight camp/raft packages with delicious meals cooked by our talented staff. Canoe and Kayak instruction is available, both as a day trip and overnight package. Our outpost is near Clayton, Georgia and provides clean restrooms and hot showers, picnic and volleyball areas and a fun store for browsing.

Southeastern Expeditions is one of the oldest whitewater adventure companies in the Southeast, opening its doors in 1972 using equipment purchased from Warner Brothers following the filming of the movie Deliverance.
Quality is our area of expertise. Our company is known for making sure our guests have an exceptional time on all of their trips. Here are a few reasons to choose Southeastern Expeditions for your Chattooga whitewater adventure.

We take a little extra time on our adventures. We like to spend time with our customers, assuring that you are having a good time and receiving the most fun for your money.

Our staff is a bunch of outdoor lovers and they are experts at what they do because they love it. All guides, receptionists, and drivers have had excellent training and many have had years (some decades) of experience.

We try to make vacationing easy. Our management has come up with packages at great deals for making your experience as easy and hassle free as possible. You can leave all the details to us while you enjoy the excitement of our outdoor adventures.

Safety is our number one concern.
All guides have completed an extensive training, with a minimum of basic CPR and First Aid, and many have advanced first aid training as well.

We have one of the best outposts around – lots of wooded property tucked up against the National Forest, with lots of room for play and picnicking.
