| Description | Meredith NH; The League of NH Craftsmen Meredith Fine Craft Gallery is presenting the first of the 2024 promotions with SKIPPING STONES, a collection of work by Blair LaBella. Blair, a native of Marblehead Ma. creates jewelry made with fine metals and beach stones collected on the beaches of New England and her many travels around the world. After receiving her BFA in ceramics from RISD she switched gears and went into metalsmithing. Designing jewelry using found beach stones which are flattened and then set into individually constructed bezels made from sterling, fine sterling or gold. The finished pieces reflect the simple, yet sophisticated beauty of the natural stones.
