New for 2005 is Ocean Discovery – Where the Ocean Touches You. Ocean Discovery is an interactive animal encounter amidst a Caribbean theme featuring Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, Magellanic penguins, southern stingrays and adorable sea lions. Park guests can enjoy the experience of a lifetime as they touch and feed dolphins and southern stingrays in their habitats. Adjacent to the interactive pools is a two-tier exhibit where visitors can enjoy the playful antics of penguins above ground or through a special underwater viewing area. Surrounding Ocean Discovery are several educational elements, including the park’s very own trainers who can answer questions and share information about these magnificent animals.
America’s first combination wildlife park, oceanarium and theme park, Six Flags Marine World is home to more than 2,500 animals, 35 fun-filled rides and nine amazing shows.
Six Flags Marine World is located beside Lake Chabot on I-80, between San Francisco and Sacramento.
