| Description | May 1st marks the beginning of the 62nd Pilgrimage Season of the Shrine of Lourdes in Litchfield, 50 Montfort Rd., Rte. 118, Litchfield, CT 06759. Mass is celebrated Tuesday through Sunday at 11:30am in the outside Grotto. In the event of inclement weather, Mass is celebrated in the Grotto Chapel located on the Shrine grounds. Marian Prayer and Benediction are held at 3:00pm on Sunday. Also on the grounds are the Grotto Gift Shop and the Grotto Cafe. The Gift Shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30am to 4:00pm and on Sunday, 12:30 to 4:00pm. The Cafe is open from 10:00am to 2:00pm Wednesday to Sunday. Groups are welcome during the Spring, Summer & Fall seasons. Call in advance to make a reservation. Visit our web site, www.shrinect.org, which features seasonal events at the Shrine.
