| Description | Bring the entire family and shop till you drop at the 2012 Roxy Art Fest & Multi-cultural Taste of the Town! The festival is a unique opportunity for families and individuals to experience interactive art and music displays and activities while shopping through various products and services offered by over 75 vendors. The event will be held outdoors at the Pioneer Oaks Shopping Center, 4000 Pioneer Road in Balch Springs, Texas 75180. The shopping center has very easy access, located less than a mile from I-635 at the Elam Road exit and about a half mile from I-20 at the Seagoville Road exit. Admission is free to the event.
Event highlights include: a starving artist gallery, taste sensations, interactive art and music exhibits. Festival guests can even grab a brush and paint on the Community Canvas! For those who want to sit, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds, two stages will offer all-day entertainment and demonstrations of products and artists.
Proceeds will benefit community programs of the Balch Springs Arts Alliance, a non-profit visual and performing arts organization.
