DescriptionRiverview at Hobson Grove, or the Hobson House, is a lovely brick post Civil War mansion set on a hill overlooking Bowling Green. It was built by Atwood & Julia Hobson, and moved into in 1872 after completing the home after the war. They raised horses, and some crops on their 400 acres, and had 5 children. 3 of the children lived with their parents in the home their entire lifetime and never married. The 2 who did marry still have relatives who live in Bowling Green, and they serve on our Board of Directors and are volunteers.
