| Description | The 6,249 acre Prince Gallitzin State Park is in the scenic Allegheny Plateau Region of Pennsylvania. Large portions of the park can be seen from several easily accessible vistas. The major attraction is the 1,600 acre Glendale Lake. Recreational opportunities include boating, hunting, picnicking, fishing, hiking, swimming, biking, wildlife watching, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Overnight accommodations include the Crooked Run Campground and modern cabins. To reserve a campsite, cabin, organized group tenting area, or a picnic pavilion, call 1-888-PA-PARKS, 7 am - 5 pm Monday through Saturday. Campsites can be reserved from 11 months up to noon of the day of arrival. Cabins, organized group tenting areas, and picnic pavilions can be reserved from 11 months to two days in advance. |
