Description | Porter Carroll, Jr. Singer, Song writer, drummer, percussionist and founder of Atlantic Starr the Rhythm and Blues hit machine from the 70's and 80's. Porter was asked to join the number one selling duo in music history Daryl Hall and John Oates performing world wide in a brand new roll as their percussionist and background vocalist. Along with this venture he is a regular on MTV Live channel and internet smash Live from Daryl's House.
In between tours with Hall & Oates and TV shows Porter is the lead singer in his own innovative cabaret/night club act that puts a new spin on popular classics not seen on the Jazz club and cabaret circuit. The entire performance is a tasty musical panoply that runs the gamut from R & B and improvisational Jazz to soul, funk, blues , Rock & Roll and more. Reviewers have already declared it as a "bold and daring nightclub act for the modern world".
