DescriptionOrdinary people... Extraordinary discoveries!

Welcome to the PaleoWorld Research Foundation (PWRF) – a very unique organization!

June through July join PaleoWorld Research Foundation’s dinosaur research expedition in the Badlands of eastern Montana where you can take part in the discovery of a lifetime!

We can take you back in time about 65 million years in search of some of the most awesome creatures to have ever walked the earth – dinosaurs!

Each year we encourage families, kids, teachers, students and everyone with an interest in dinosaurs to join our field expeditions and become a member of our research team. As an “associate researcher”, you are given the rare opportunity to learn about and participate in actual field techniques used to find, collect and preserve dinosaur fossils.

Make no mistake – this is NOT a tour!

You will work side-by-side with our expedition paleontologist and assistants to discover the ancient world of the dinosaur.

Reviews for PaleoWorld Research Foundation in Jordan, MT

5 StarsExcellent! My husband and I took our daughter in law and her three boys to the dig near Jordan, MT. The boys were aged 9, 6 and 3. The three year old did not go on the dig. He wanted to go, but it would not have been a good idea. It was a great experience. Be sure to stay in Jordan in an air conditioned motel rather than at the ranch. Children and grandparents aways do better when they are comfortable. There are a couple of restaurant/diners and a dino museum in town. This is a rugged isolated area of MT. If you have health problems be prepared to help yourself. I would not trust emergency services to be very available out on the dig site. All three generations of our party thought it was wonderful. We actually got to help uncover the rib bones of a triceratops!! You don't get to do that everyday!Elderly female03-05-09
