Tawawa Park

The Crown Jewel of Sidney Tawawa Park consists of 220 wooded acres which provide shelters, grounds and areas to play ball. Two lakes (Tawawa and Amos) are located on the grounds and fishing is permitted with a valid fishing license. Tawawa Park is being preserved to retain a rustic nature.

Northup Dam

Milldam Northup Dam features a tranquil waterfall, the result of an old milldam on Raccoon Creek. The 1937 flood washed away the mill. This was a man-made dam, once owned by the Harrington's. The Blessing family originally owned the land.
