Description	A restored turn-of-the-century N.C. & St.L. railway depot.The City of Jackson,TN. has restored the Depot into a local history Railroad Museum-a lasting tribute to the impact of the railroads on the growth of Jackson and Madison County. The Museum's permanent collection includes photographs, artifacts, and related memorabilia associated with the 14 railroads that have been in Jackson over the years. Also located on the grounds are an FEC dining car and two cabooses open for view. An elaborate working HO scale model,built by the Jackson Model Railroad Club, depicts Jackson rich railroad history and receives "rave reviews" from our visitors. Free Admission
