Brief DescriptionThe William E. Swigart, Jr. Auto Museum
TypeAttraction
CategoryMuseum
DescriptionThe oldest Antique Auto Museum in the country started in 1920 by W. Emmert Swigart. His son William took over the museum in 1949. The museum has a lot of one-of-a-kind vehicles and an abundance of other auto related items. We open Memorial Day weekend, May 28th, and are open everyday, 7 days a week, from 10am - 5pm until October 31st. We have two Tuckers, the "Tin Goose" and #1013, the movie car and we have "Herbie, the Love Bug". Our big car show is in August, the 2nd weekend every year. There is also a car group that is at our museum every Saturday morning called Kars and Koffee from 8am - 11 am. Our staff is very friendly and helpful to all who come to visit. We hope to see you soon!
