An unusual shopping/food and fun adventure featuring 21 off-the-beaten path businesses, hand-picked for their uniqueness. Set up like a home or garden tour, you’ll travel place to place, in your own vehicle, enjoying all the special free things (refreshments, games, gifts, farm tours, demos, workshop tours, make & take projects, etc) the businesses have planned for you. Your ticket is valid the entire time—do what you can in a day or take 10 days—it’s up to you. Collect stamps to enter to win a $525 shopping spree. Plus, each place has given you a valuable coupon. Although we won’t tell you the names of the businesses ahead of time (that’s part of the fun secret!), we will tell you the types of places you’ll visit— home, garden & gift stores housed in historic homes and unusual buildings, greenhouses, ice cream & sweet shops, shops with handmade soaps, body products & candles, amazing handmade crafts, furniture, vintage & antique shops, jewelry, clothing & accessories boutiques, an art studio, a great local restaurant, a wine tasting room, a few specialty shops and more!! There is something for everyone! What a fun way to explore the Mason/Dixon line! The stores are located in the following towns: Quarryville, Oxford, Kirkwood, Rising Sun, Elkton, Newark & Glasgow. If you follow our path you will never travel more than 15 miles between places and most are closer together. Tickets are $10 ea--$1 per ticket is donated to the Solanco Neighborhood Ministries. Your ticket is a booklet which contains a guide that lists the name, address and description of each business, a map to get you around, the calendar of extra events, and coupons from every business.
